Summer Scholarship Blood Drives

Win a scholarship to the college of your choice from BloodCenter of Wisconsin.  

  

BloodCenter of Wisconsin will be hosting blood drives this summer where the names of all attempting donors will be entered in a drawing to win a scholarship. Drives are open to everyone interested in making a blood donation and entering a student’s name in the sweepstakes drawing.

 

Community members, including teachers, families and friends can donate on behalf of an eligible student to increase a student’s chances to be awarded a scholarship. The more times a name is entered in the drawing, the better the chances of winning! To be eligible to enter the drawing, donor must meet the minimum criteria to donate blood as well as meet the following criteria:

 

 

High School Students:
• Must be scheduled to graduate at the end of the 2011-2012 school year OR must have graduated at the end of the 2010-2011 school year.
• Must be enrolled or scheduled to be enrolled full-time in an accredited, 2 or 4 year post secondary education institution.
• Students graduating from high school in 2012 have until May 1, 2012 to designate their desired institution.

 

College Students:
• Must currently be enrolled, full-time, in an accredited 2 or 4 year post secondary education institution.

 

All Others:
• If donating on behalf of a student, the student must meet the above criteria. 

 

Contest Information:

• To enter, each donor must complete an official sweepstakes entry form at the time of the blood donation.

• Winners will be chosen in a random drawing from among all eligible donors and will be subject to verification.

• BloodCenter of Wisconsin will award the scholarship directly to the college or other post secondary institution in the name of the student.

• Appointments should be made by calling 1-877-BE-A-HERO or following the links attached to the drives below. Walk-ins on day of drive are welcome, if times are available.
