Ultimate ShareThe Ultimate Share program is designed to give recognition to students, faculty and administrators for their support of BloodCenter's life-saving mission. The program has three unique components:
Developing Leadership Skills The Ultimate Share Program is a unique opportunity for high school students to learn and practice leadership skills that will last a lifetime.
BloodCenter of Wisconsin (BCW) has developed this distinctive program to teach students to plan, organize, motivate and work within a team to get results. Professionals from BCW will guide students through the process of coordinating a blood drive, and offer support every step of the way. The results will be priceless: students are prepared for future leadership roles in college and beyond – and patients in our local hospitals will receive blood and blood products necessary to save their lives.
Organizing a blood drive at a high school can help students reach their future goals – and will save lives in the process. We call that THE ULTIMATE SHARE!
Earning an Honor Cord All students will be invited to register for the Honor Cord Program. Students will earn points for their advocacy of BCW's mission and their involvement in BCW's activities. Of course, donating blood earns points, but recognition is available even to those unable to donate but who contribute by volunteering at a drive or recruiting donors. Graduating seniors who earn 6 points or more will receive recognition from BloodCenter of Wisconsin. Credit will be given for past donations and service to BCW.
High school students should register for the Honor Cord Program today.
Scholarships Awarded Monthly Each month, scholarships will be awarded to deserving high schools. There will be awards for three categories every month.
